There’s a wide range of source contributing to warped or inconsistent sheets
- Inconsistent heating across the plate. This isn’t easy or cheap to solve
- The process, eg: wrong melting times
- Plastic source, contamination, flake size
- Rib structure of the sheetpress (currently, the 1m version can be considered a safe ballpark)
- Bend heat plates, over time
These are the workarounds, fixes we know of
- Clamps will help overcoming problems at the outer edges
- Smaller grid size for the heaters
- Precision machined heater blocks
- Stronger rib structure
- Level screws for the heat plates (one every 30cm)
- Adding vibrators
- Longer melting, to over come plastic insulation property problem
